I started this project as a design intern at Konrad Group, where I was tasked with designing a marketing site for an imaginary travel company. I was provided with the company name, logo, and description: "A travel platform that gives users an unforgettable and unique experience". Beyond that, I was given full creative freedom.
Existing travel planning sites (ex: Kayak, TripAdvisor, Air-BnB) do little to truly personalize recommendations. To address this gap in the market, I created a personality-test based travel site.
After my internship concluded, I continued to build upon my concept, designing social media graphics, merchandise, advertisements, and more
This project began as a three-week internship assignment but evolved into a passion project.
Initially, I felt stuck in designing a travel site- I wasn't sure how to design one that didn't resemble every other competitor out there. This concern pushed me to develop a novel business idea.
Although my internship with Konrad has concluded, I carry the Journeir project with me, constantly expanding upon the fictitious company.
